An unidentified woman has committed suicide by jumping into the Lagos Lagoon from Third Mainland Bridge.
We gathered that the incident took place late on Sunday, as the woman was said to have parked her Ford jeep with the registration number APP 190 CE on the bridge and jumped into the river.
A top police source told our correspondent that the Marine Police were currently searching for the body of the deceased inside the water.
